at the World Forum and the OPCW
Both the World Forum and the OPCW Headquarters offer barrier-free access, with lifts to all floors and accessible toilet facilities on every floor. Arrangements can be made to accommodate wheelchairs in the King Willem-Alexander Theatre upon advance request.
For the benefit of hearing aid users, an induction loop assistive listening system is provided in the King Willem-Alexander Theatre. To use the induction loop, hearing aids should be set to the ‘T’ setting.
Telephone and Internet Facilities
If you are calling from outside the Netherlands to The Hague, add the country code (31) and the city code (70) to the telephone number. From within the Netherlands, calls to The Hague should be preceded by 070. Calls within the city do not require a city code. The city code for Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport is 020. Directory assistance can be reached at 1888.
Computers with internet access will be available for participants in the Oceania Foyer in the World Forum (the Delegates’ Lounge). A business computer and printer will also be available in this area.
Complimentary wireless internet access will be available for participants with their own WiFi-ready devices in the King Willem-Alexander Theatre, the Oceania Foyer (the Delegates Lounge), and the World Forum Café.
A staffed cloakroom will be located at the entrance of the conference area, on the left side and before the security screening area. This is a complimentary service, however, items are left at the owner’s risk.
Paid parking is available in the underground garage at the World Forum.
Banking and Currency Exchange
There is a cash dispenser to the left of the main entrance at the World Forum and an ABN-AMRO cash dispenser located on the first floor in the OPCW Headquarters building.
Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport, in the city centre and central station.
Throughout the Conference, breakfast and lunch will be available from 08:30 – 14:30 in the OPCW cafeteria, located on the first floor of the OPCW Headquarters building.
A lounge serving hot and cold beverages and snacks will be located in the Oceania Foyer of the World Forum. The World Forum also has a café and restaurant on either side of the main reception area.
